MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – November 6, 2017 5:00 PM

Ed has concerns/issues with the current radios that are being used by the Tolland Police Department. Conversations are being transmitted using a digital system and Tolland’s current radios are not compatible. Ed voiced his concerns to the state police and Pittsfield dispatch hoping for some assistance. The current Police Expense budget will be reviewed for any possible funds. Ed requested admin fees received from details in the amount of $7,100 be used to purchase hand held radios. The monies will be closed out into Free Cash and will have to be voted to transfer from at a town meeting. The transfer request will be placed on the Annual Town Meeting for Fiscal 2019.
The Board of Selectmen appointed E. Patrick Storey to serve as a member of the Finance Committee.
